Virtual Learning Parent Playbook



Each school will be provided with basic instructional materials and school supplies during virtual learning. Distribution to families may begin on August 10, using a drive-through process.Bắn Cá Hải Tặc iOS If additional school-specific materials are needed, principals will inform families. Additionally, parents may want to purchase earbuds or headphones for their students to use with their laptops.

Below is a tentative list of supply items that may be provided.

Materials for English Language Arts Grades K-5 will include the following physical materials:

  • Core Texts (K-5): Several Core Texts are being ordered so each student has individual access to rich, engaging knowledge-building texts at home.  These texts have been purposefully selected to align to the knowledge-building topics and content in the Florida Virtual School (FLVS) curriculum. 

  • Florida Virtual School Printables (K-5): The FLVS curriculum includes printed material in grades K-5 to supplement the online components.  This allows students to practice coloring, forming shapes, numbers and letters, and more.  These materials will be printed and delivered to schools for disseminating to students and families.

  •  TN Foundational Skills Supplement (Grades K-2)Bắn Cá Hải Tặc iOS: MNPS will be utilizing the TN Foundational Skills Supplement for the 2019-20 school year.  This resource includes a student workbook to which students will need access.  These materials are currently being printed and will be delivered to schools no later than August 10.
