Invitation to Bid
Invitation to Bid (ITB) is an invitation to suppliers to submit an offer in response to an MNPS sourcing event for a specific product or service to be provided. The ITB is focused on pricing, and not on ideas or concepts. It is generally, defined by required specification, delivery location and date. The awards are based on the lowest cost, responsive and responsible offer that satisfies the requirements as determined by MNPS.
Request for Proposal
Request for Proposal (RFP) is an invitation to suppliers to submit a proposal in response to an MNPS sourcing event addressing a specific need. The proposal would address a deliverable or outcome that would best address and resolve the need presented in the RFP. The RFP would identify the selection (evaluation) criteria and that criterion’s relative weight in the selection process. The evaluators are subject matter experts with responsibility for the resulting successful contract. The awards are based on the highest scoring, responsive and responsible offer that brings the highest value as determined by MNPS. Cost is one of those evaluation criteria.
Request for Qualifications
Bắn Cá Hải Tặc iOSRequest for Qualification (RFQ) is an invitation to suppliers to submit their professional qualifications in response to an MNPS sourcing event addressing a specific need. The RFQ follows the same selection methodology as the RFP except it is for professional services (architects, engineers, attorneys, doctors, etc.). Cost is not one of the evaluation criteria.
Sole Source Purchases
Bắn Cá Hải Tặc iOSSole source procurement refers to those purchases where there's only one supplier that provides the product. Usually these are unique products that you cannot find anywhere but through the one supplier or manufacturer. Generally, it is a proprietary part to an existing piece of equipment or system. It may also apply to a Grant named solution but this is becoming increasingly rare.
Cooperative Agreement Purchases
The School District may participate in, sponsor, conduct, or administer a Cooperative Purchasing agreement for the procurement of supplies, services, or construction when that agreement resulted from an open, competitively sourced procurement event. Examples of cooperatives are the BuyBoard, National IPA, E&I, etc. These purchases may be entered into without having to conduct an MNPS sourcing event.
Bắn Cá Hải Tặc iOSAn interlocal agreement is a contract between local government agencies such as a city, a county, a school board or a constitutional office. Examples of Interlocal agreements include ride sharing with MTA, use of Metro Parks, or with the State for services.
